Murogrosso is a wine cellar, with a selective production of fine wines ... qualified and courteous staff of winemakers and sommeliers will welcome you to taste  the secrets of the traditional "barriques".

Podere Marone  is an independent detached house  surrounded by fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, ensuring a vacation of relaxation and peacefulness for spirit and mind.

Murogrosso is the perfect starting point for day trips thanks to its strategic location whether in the search of wellness and cusine, such as thermal waters and truffles, or sightseeing to major cities such as Orvieto, Assisi and even Florence or Rome.

Murogrosso (literally: big wall) is the popular name of  an ancient masonry structure, including a bridge, that allowed the old Roman route Via Cassia to cross the River Chiani. The Murogrosso, which tradition assigns to Emperor Nero (37-68 a.C.), is thought to be part of a larger hydraulic work, built by the Romans to avoid flooding risk in the downstream areas. The bridge has been demolished in 1937, in a period of poor attention to the preservation of historic buildings. Masonry remains are still visible in the wood.
