Podere Marone
This is an eighteenth-century Umbrian farmhouse that housed a family of farmers, on an isolated hill surrounded by fields 1.5 km from Fabro Scalo. It has been restored and equipped with electrical and water services connected to the public networks.The guest apartment on the first floor has three double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite), a kitchen-dining area, and a large living room with the original fireplace. It is equipped with winter heating, summer air conditioning, and wifi internet. For most of the year, the thick stone walls of the old building and the thermal insulation in the roof allow for naturally comfortable conditions even without using the air conditioning, simply by keeping the windows open at night and closed during the hot hours of the day.
On the ground floor, in addition to service rooms, there is a space for storing bicycles and pool furniture. The adjacent terrace, covered by a canopy, is a space for outdoor dining.
In the tree-lined garden surrounding the farmhouse, the swimming pool (5×10 meters), a gazebo, and a stone barbecue allow guests to spend many pleasant hours enjoying the countryside’s peace.
